Data collected on this website

Users of this website can read most information without registering. However, users are asked to register using the form provided on the Home page and on some other pages to access some content and the solutions to a few online exercises. 

The data collected is the following:

• Username
• Email address

Once registered, users can access their own profile and add some data if they wish:

• Language
• Image
• Time zone

This data is stored in the Administration module of the website and linked to an autoresponder database.
This data will only be used to contact users if there is a major website-related announcement, such as a full website revamp, the publication of a new e-book version or to offer an online course. These announcements are exceptional and may not occur every year.
Users can at any time edit or remove their profile. If you need help processing or removing your data, please contact Nancy Matis (nancy@nmatis.be).

Users can also buy the English version of the book How to Manage Your Translation Projects. When purchasing this online book, users fill in a form with the following data:

• Country
• Surname
• First name
• Email address
• Address
• Postcode
• City
• VAT number, if any

Users’ email addresses might be used in future to contact them about an e-book update or online course offer related to the same subject.
