Translation Commons is a nonprofit online volunteer community of language professionals: linguists, translators, interpreters, terminologists, engineers, students, language service managers and academics. Its mission is to offer access to open source tools and resources, to facilitate community-driven initiatives, to empower linguists and to share educational and language assets powered by translators.
I joined this great initiative in 2014, mainly working to create the Mentoring Guidelines document and to revive the eCoLo projects.
Check the last version of the Mentoring guidelines for translators and interpreters, and download the provided checklist to help you build your own mentoring program.
